christie smith is live with the latest for us. christie? >> good morning to you. richmond police are still onscene. they have removed the crime scene tape and one of the cars involved in this shooting is now gone. they've removed the tape and you can see the car that the victim was riding in. the drive's side window is completely shot out. i counted at least eight bullet holes in the door and front side of the car. v police trying to piece together what happened. but here's what we know. around 3:00 this morning their spot shotter technology let them know there were multiple gun shots in this neighborhood. when they got here, they say they found a male victim in that car. he was slumped over the steering wheel. he was airlifted to the medical center. they're still not sure what condition he's in right now. that's what police were telling me. there was a second car here, a white sedan. they think that may have been actually the victim's relative who somehow came up on the scene. that person came here and took off in that car just a couple of minutes ago. there were
